On the wing... SU-27 in flight

RT has been given exclusive access to elite Air Force aerobatic teams as they prepare for a show in Moscow on May 9. The Swifts (Strizhi) and the Russian Knights are taking part in a display of military hardware in Red Square on Victory Day.

RT was allowed to film a pre-parade training session at the Kubinka air force base 60 km west of Moscow.

The parade’s programme includes breathtaking manoeuvres where pilots from both teams, flying SU-27s and MiG-29s, perform aeronautic stunts simultaneously.
