A terrorist "guilty" of killing over 270 people has been released by the Scottish government on "purely compassionate grounds." Are we living in a utopian paradise, where monstrous criminals can be set free from one day to another, or a cynical world where the cover-up of a huge human injustice can no longer be maintained. Nobody but the victims of western propaganda believe that al-Megrabi planted a bomb in the Pan Am plane that exploded in midair over Lockerbie in Scotland. The man was absolutely innocent. The kangaroo court that condemned him could not produce a single tangible evidence. The Libyan government was coerced with the threat of Iraq-like destruction of Libya by the US and British governments into yielding al-Megrabi to the Scottish court. He was always a hero for the Libyan people, simply because he was innocent and served his country by serving in prison in Scotland. Is it any surprise that he was welcome as a hero? The US and British governments will have to answer to the relatives of all the victims as to why their dear ones became victims of abject politics. The two governments wanted al-Megrabi to drop his appeal because they were scared of any revelations that would contradict their version sold to the families of the victims and to the world. Compassion? Would someone please tell me how many innocent people have perished of torture in the prisons of Israel, in the Gitmo, in renditions of the CIA, and God knows what? The release of al-Megrabi is intended to forever cover up the criminal act that the US and British governments engaged in. The Scottish government released the terminally-ill Libyan terrorist, saying the decision was based purely on compassionate grounds.
