The whole world fell in love with Yury Gagarin minutes after he landed back on Earth. The man with the legendary smile, the first man in space would have been celebrating his 75th birthday on March 9.

As the story goes, Sergei Korolev made the final selection of Capt. Gagarin the day he presented the space capsule to the five candidates for man's flight into space and chose him because he was the only one who took off his shoes before entering the capsule.
