History needs a new chronology, Einstein was wrong, and the well-known atomic structure is a big error - modern Russian scientists are making shocking discoveries that challenge traditional concepts.

However strange they might sound, some say the crazier an idea is the more likely people are to believe in it.

For example, the fact that Jesus lived raises no doubt – but when he did does. One professor of mathematics claims to have made a shocking discovery.

“The ancient dates need to be corrected on a very large scale. Sometimes by several hundred years, sometimes, maybe by more than one thousand years,” says Professor Anatoly Fomenko from the Russian Academy of Sciences

Einstein's theory of relativity suggests the speed of light is a constant 300,000 kilometers per second, but another scientist is sure that Einstein was wrong and the speed of light can be as fast as 5,000,000 kilometers per second.

Dzhabrail Baziyev says the structure of the atom is also in doubt. He says the sphere of an atom is formed by electrinos while the electrons form the equator and they do not move around it, but are drowned in it.

No matter how sensational some new theories are, most of them are not welcomed by official science.

“Sometimes serious mathematicians come up with these exotic and completely incorrect theories. But the thing that makes science different from all other activities is that the truth is the same for everyone and can always be checked in experiments,” a member of Committee on Pseudo-Science of Russia’s Academy of Science Dr. Rostislav Polischuk said sternly.

In the era of TV, iPods and the Internet, most people can access tremendous amounts of information, both scientific and fictional, and the main question is “which is which?”
