International motor show kicks off in Moscow

Hi-tech and ready to drive – the Moscow International Motor Show has kicked off, with hundreds of cars from Russia and abroad on display.
More than 80 companies from 12 countries are taking part in the show. They will present around 600 new car models, including concept cars. Organizers promise eight world and seven European premieres, while Russian car-makers will show 62 brand new models for the first time.
Organizers are expecting 1.6 million people to visit the show. The first two days will be reserved for professionals and, on August 27, the show will open for the general public.
