There’s no risk that Iran will use the spent nuclear fuel from the Bushehr power plant, says political analyst Aleksandr Pikayev.

He noted the facility will be under the surveillance of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Also, the spent fuel – which can be used for enriching uranium – will not stay in the country.
