The Russian division of Microsoft appears to have inadvertently revealed a corporate secret.

Screenshots of the new Internet Explorer browser and some of its new functions were published in the Microsoft press blog yesterday.

Though they were removed several hours later, they remained cached in search engines.

The leaked screenshots prove that the new design is much simpler than older versions.

The company has published several demo-versions of the browser, but its user interface has never been shown to the public.

It was supposed to be unveiled on September 15 during the official presentation.
