A much smaller change of mean temperatures may cause disastrous consequences, a new study into global warming said.
the problem is political and scientific and is the real threat to the planet . The scientific community seems incapable to offer any solutions and the politicians prefer to ignor it. The collapse of the eco system is irreverssible. It will result heating of the oceans that will free more co2 into the atmospher .There is urgency for action not to stop further emmissins but to absorb co2 as suggested by James Hansen report (see www.gisss.com )
When the temperatures don't go up like the model predicts, just increase the predicted calamity to make every one worry over a lesser change. For the last ten years it has been cooling due to the reduced sun spot activity. This is not widely reported because it doesn't support the politically correct view of our climate. The sun spot cycle is expected to reverse in the next year or two causing a slight increase in global temperatures. You can bet that the Chicken Little crowd will cease this opportunity to advance their agenda. Just remember to check the sun spot activity and observe the direct correlation with temperatures before you blame it all on mankind. If Congress passes their Cap & Trade bill the greens won't be able to blame the U.S. for the problem because what few manufacturing jobs we have left in this country will move to China where pollution in accepted by their government as a cost of providing jobs for their billions of people. It is ironic that a country that is largely pollution free (if you grew up in the 50s & 60s you would know what pollution was really like) will have to ship all their jobs to the worst polluters on the planet. The greens will have actually made the world worse with their political nonsense.
