The Iranian embassy in Moscow has said that a Russian warship has freed eight Iranian citizens who had been seized last week along with Somali pirates.

Butr why don't you put by helicopter 10 marines or SAS fully armed with rocket launchers etc. on each ship entering the pirate areas and collect them as soon as the ship leaves the dangerous area always by helicopetr and put them on the next ship etc. etc. ? It is much easier, cheaper and far more effective as the few pirates cannot engage in battle as marines support is readely available !. Franco

Since these pirates captured by the Russian Navy were holding Iranian citizens hostage, perhaps Iran is the right country to try these particular pirates?
