The Russian Emergencies Ministry is getting ready to send it’s rescuers to China in search for six missing Russian tourists. The Chinese authorities have already given their permission to enter the country.
The six tourists went missing in the northwest of China more than two weeks ago.
Over a thousand people are involved in their search.
The six were supposed to be rafting down the Yurunkash river for eleven days, starting from August 22.
However, their Chinese guides lost contact with them at the very beginning of the journey.
Rescue teams are now scouring the river, which stretches for more than 400 kilometres.
