Russian police hunt militants accused of murder

Police in Russia's southern republic of Chechnya have named a suspected militant wanted in connection with the deaths of three people, including a toddler. Turpali Jamalkhanov is also accused of murdering and attacking police officers.
Late on Saturday the militant group he heads fired on a vehicle carrying two men and a child near the Chechen village of Tsa-Vedeno.
According to local police the people were on their way to visit relatives who live in the area.
Around ten gunmen, who are also residents of the village, set fire to 3 houses.
