How quickly this decision was reached? "Methanol poisoning" is the cause of these men's death? Really, how so? How it is possible that highly educated engineers drunk cheap vodka which is the supposed source of this methanol poisoning and why was this supposed cause so quickly circulated? Drinking alcohol contains ethanol [ethyl alcohol for common name] where are methanol [methyl alcohol] is toxic and deadly. Have the authorities located the source of the methanol? How did it got into the drinks of these highly trained engineers? Note the cause of death was described as cardiac arrests, we can look up at the physiological and pharmacological manifestations of methyl alcohol poisoning but there is something funny about how these deaths are repoted.

Here is a link to the first quick google search on methyl alcohol poisoning [chemical structure CH3OH], "cardiac arrest" is not mentioned anywhere. Also according to the Voice of Russia, two additional Russian engineers came down with illnesses, in the same place. Where these two additional patient also suffering from methyl alcohol poisoning? We expect RT to give us more comprehensive and credible reporting of this tragic story http://www.uwo.ca/cns/resident/pocketbook/disorders/criticalcare/methanol.htm

Anybody with even high school level chemistry education can see that three healthy men could not suddenly die from methanol poisoning and others are not coming down with the same problem [if indeed Vodka was the be blamed here]. How much methanol one needs to drink to die? was the percentage of methanol in the Vodka in question? A Vodka mixed with Methanol would have taste different from normal Vodka. Yet, highly trained engineers did not noticed they were drinking methanol? Why all of three men die? I think making these deaths look natural the key clue to why I think these men were murdered. I am now more than incline to believe this as a criminal case and that Vodka poisoning is not credible conclusion. I also think the supposed drowning of FSB colonel in Turkey last month or so is might be linked to these cases. The aim is to make these cases look "accidental". Are there are other Russians working in other industries in these countries who have suffered similar strings of seemingly accidental deaths in recent months? Key words: geopolitics, espionage, weapons industry and cover ups.

Yes, I agreed with first comment above, that "we expect RT to give us..." Because in my opinnion, as an Indonesian, this is a first series of Russian weapons since era of Soekarno--more then 4 decades ago. I'm just worried this is not a "natural" death. For me, honestly, Russian ia one of a country that could make this world become multipolar. The era of Uncle Sam with his gang will be gone in the near future. Please RT...

It wasn't Vodka. It must be local liquor. We have a lot of methanol poisoned case here in Indonesia. One of my best man in my wedding two months ago also died from it. Some one even post warning in Lonely Planet.

Somebody with bad training in chemistry is really in a damage control by declaring the deaths of these men as natural! Yes, even of 30ml milliliters of methanol are enough to cause a death, it is required that this be a puree concentration of methanol as in windshield wash or other pure form of methanol. In drinking alcohol, it is assumed that that methanol got into their drinks as form of contamination. In that way, we need to know let a us a how much methanol was in a bottle of 1000ml vodka [we need to know of methanol in terms of vol/weight in 1000ml ] in some other valume. We also need to know the ages and weight of the three men because their body weights should have different and that would have created differential in how their bodies responded to the intake of certain amount of methanol in specific concentration. I am using this scenario to show that the accidentally poisoning has lot of questions unanswered. And then how quickly did the doctors doing the autopsy figured the nature of methanol on the bodies of these men since the chemical composition of a substance change after it is ingested. The most logical way deadly amount of pure methanol can get into the drinks of these three men if was poured into their drinks deliberately. I smell a cover in this shocking incident
