that is good new, Russians should listen to america, talk to her, be friendly with obama, and discuss many issues, but never lower the guard, always ahead, and surpass NATO in every aspect, and very important tighten links with CHINA an all of the Russian allies, Russians should also have military bases in Central America Cuba and Venezuela

I`m sure that this wont escalate into a direct conflict with the rest of the west (which would be devastating for both parts), but I surely hope that the relation between Russia and the rest of the west change towards the better soon. Russia will have to make sure to dont take to much money from important sivil areas in a way that destabilize parts of society, as the US have done (also before the economy crisis). Though, some nice things may come out of this upgrade... Military foundings oftenly improves technological advancements.

It is a pity that the United States will not relinquish its aggressive and acquisitive foreign policy. No matter who is elected President and which party forms the majority in the Congress, America's inherent nature will not change. There are two reasons fo this lamentable condition: the militarizaton of the American economy, and the imossibility of te perpetuation of the :American way of life." America must learn to live and let live. The sooner the better. Otherwise the future will have no mercy ont his nation.

Russia, and Russians had better realize that their battle is with the so-called "New World Order", the U.S., EU etc. Notice what happens when Russia does NOT dance to the U.N./E.U./NATO etc. tune? Russia is made to look like a pariah, an international outcast, through our controlled media. Russia had better upgrade her armed forces, because the freedom of the planet depends on it.

Canuck 7 > exactly... the question is; where does it stop? until russia is 'completely' surrounded by 100% nato membership allied countries (yes, including the former soviet republics) ? when i try to look in the future i can't help but asking myself where that line is . who will draw it, and how. that's probably the most important question ....
