Once the US has finished setting up bases around the world to tie up and secure the rest of the worlds fuel, food, water, metals, and other natural resources (plus the appropriate transport routes), Russia will be glad that it can provide for itself.

Twenty years and even ten years ago, and according to President Obama’s PV, Joe Biden, only a few months ago,, the western neo-liberalists were certain that Russia will die out! Today, we are speaking how Russia will save the world! This is remarkable turn of events. However, Russia has saved the world from fascism rule more than once before. Thus, it is logical that Russia is now posed to lead the world once again!

The whole statement is follish. No nation will single handed save the World. This will happen if mankind require better gouvernance and look seriously at a few realities. Feeding other peoples who could feed themselves is ridiculous; just teach them how to do it properly and use the tremendous amount of money wasted for the military to set-up better infrastructures (We have the knowledge, the tools and the money to do it) . We must also take into consideration the fact than when a man and a woman have nothing to do, they can still sleep together and make babies. Consequently, demography and mankind's bad repartition must be faced; even if that do not please politics and religious institutions. Even if Russia become a tropical paradise do you beleive to be able to feed 9 billions humans in 2030 and 12 billions in 2050: Ridiculous. It is urgent to force a "rapprochement" between the politic institutions and the scientific communauty and to get rid of the actual planetery, diplomatic, furbery show. Personnally, I don't give a dam if Mr Medvedev and Obama feel good together or if Mr Putin had a nice breakfast with that US clown...What have they proposed and done for the present and for the future. So far nothing; just bla, bla bla. many tons of CO2 and millions $ wasted on travel and useless ceremonies... Sorry Future Generations ! . Best Regards. Jean-Claude Meslin

I believe this is right. Russia is spiritually healthier - that is what will make her strong and healthy. How can anyone be stron and healthy if they are morally rotten - as the West is now? The future is with Russia. I just know it! I pray that Russia will soon be on good terms with all her neighbors - but for that Russia has to be very courageous morally and face up to what has been done in the past in her name - by foreigners actually, not Russians. Russia has to look into the Bolshevick Revolution, who exactly created and caused it, deliberately. Who used Russia and the Russian people, no matter how many died of famine and war and poverty and misery. Who drove them to War and why. Please look into the website of the great Gilad Atzmon, www.gilad.co.uk, the great jazz man who knows how to tell the truth about the Jews, being originally Jewish himself. Then, all Russian of good will, actually all people of good will, should also look into the real history of the famine in the Ukraine. I want to see Ukraine reunited with Russia - whihc is where she belongs, after all. That con ony be done if Russia acknowledges what was done ot the millions of the People of the Ukraine in their name - and they were forced to do it just as the Ukrainians say they were forced to fight. It must all be done in a spiriti of openness and forgiveness. It will be so good for the whole ~World if Russia can be secure and safe with her friends and neighbours - but they all have a lot to be angry about.

Here is an alternative reality Bob that you might want to consider. When US exhausts all its resources in pursuit of global dominance, it will inevitably follow USSR path to oblivion. Military bases and financial might will follow; as a result US won't be able to control even its own territories, leave alone "worlds fuel, food, water, metals, and other natural resources".

GrizzlyBear-r-r Yes - I had considered that, and I agree that may eventually happen (although perhaps more in line with what happened to the British empire as opposed to the USSR) - however will this US withdrawal back to their own borders be in the form of a collapse taking just a decade, or a gentle decline taking a century or more? In the mean time the rest of the world continues to 'pay' for the lifestyle and comforts enjoyed by the US citizens as it continues its 'resource and land grab' using its massive military machine to 'insure' their gains against any short term losses.

Russia has no other way than to be strong against the fascistic USA who had and is supporting fascistic dictatorships. To be free and strong is a requirement if you want to be independent. USA wants to take over the world, the evil eagle spreads it's wings as we speak. why? - the reason is greed. The eagle steals from the poor and gives to the rich. Long live the Bear!!! down with USA!!!
