Russia requests extradition of runaway wrestler

The prosecutor's office in St. Petersburg has asked Norway to extradite a notorious neo-Nazi and former martial arts fighter Vyacheslav Datsik, who went on the run.
Datsik is a prominent member of a banned nationalist party and has a history of assault and robbery.
He escaped from a St. Petersburg psychiatric unit in August and managed to get as far Norway, where he asked authorities for political asylum.
Datsik is now under arrest there for trespassing and illegal possession of a firearm.
