Mikheil Saakashvili seldom operates outside his delusional world of self-aggrandizement, so the reality that S. Ossetia is independent of Georgia is incomprehensible to him. Misha does not understand that the people of S. Ossetia are not occupied by the Russian Federation - they have declared their independence from Georgia, and have called on Russia to protect them. Misha can weep and moan to the West all he wants, but as long as the people of S. Ossetia want to be free of Georgia, so it shall be. The situation in the Caucasus would be much more dangerous without Russian protection of S. Ossetia, because Saakashvili would not hesitate to initiate another military adventure against a defenseless neighbor.

Russia will always protect South Ossetia from Saakashvili's Georgia, but the sooner he goes the better for both the citizens of the republic's South Ossetia and Georgia as this is the only way forward for both countries to live happily side by side, so thank goodness that Russia has decided to step in a protect a country with virtually no defence against the oppressions made by Saakashvili and his gang of political thug's and bullies. So South Ossetia will be able to feel safe with their rather large, helpful and considerate neighbour Russia to give them supplies for food, aid, drink and also a great electrical and water line's from russia so that all of South Ossetians can watch TV and probably soon have their own Internet regional domain hopefully this ".so". But all this will take time but these events do happen quickly and progress in South Ossetia evidently shows how far they have come, so South Ossetia will get fantastic re-assurances that Russia will indeed protect and serve South Ossetia to their greatest goal's and that is "South Ossetian Harmony".

Hehe. Russia is such bullies. Protecting seperatists, like Russia would have accepted that if it happened to them. Georgia is in the right to act against ossetia, you deal with rebels by sending in the army and beat them down. That method has worked for thousands of years and is still valid, now Russia want to stand in the way and let rebels flourish. Shame on you.

There is no such a country "south ossetia". Russians want to control former soviet union countryes, specially Georgia, because Georgia wants to join NATO. Russian government don't care about thier own people, do you think thay care about ''south ossetia''? Also if you know the history there never been a country of "south ossetia'', communist regime made south ossetian autonomius republic when thay invaide a Georgia. This is the truth! One day Russia will suffer from exactly what thay did to Georgia.

David and Eremitt have just descened for Mars apparently, oh, wait, they descended from Georgia, which explains their twisting history to suit their needs and angry words. Poor things, I realise your pride has been wounded, but it's time to calm down already and grow up. Realize finally that S. Ossetia and Abhazia are not your toys, but countries full of people who don't want to have anything to do with you.
