Intense temperatures and the worst dry spell for generations continue to pound parts of Russia, with 40 lives now claimed by fires, over 300 injured, and thousands left homeless.
I am an American citizen born in the United States. I do not speak Russian. My grandparents were born in Russia and the fires spreading across Russia are personally painful for me to hear about. Like all the citizens of Russia, I too wait in desperate hope for the arrival of the rains that will eventually come. Unfortunately the rains will not arrive soon enough. Please know there are many of us -many- around the world who care very deeply about our people, the Russian People wherever they may live on this planet of ours far and wide - and may Heaven bless and protect all of you during this time of crisis and protect Our Mother - Always - Mother Russia.

Mother Nature is totally unpredictable. Where there is no rain and huge forest fires this year, things can swing totally the other way in future years with huge floods or extremely cold summers. Mother Nature is flexing her muscle all over the world.
