Why has Iran not yet been supplied with all the S300, and any other defensive systems it requires? Iran is being threatned with destruction by both the US and Israel. If ever a country needed to defend itself, it is Iran right now.

I watched the whole interview with Sophie Shevarnadze. That expert support the opposite of what Russia with her Worldwide respected and trustworthy leaders should do. To catch-up with Imperialist America, Russia will do again what ruined the Soviet-Union, not so long ago, and the whole mankind will repeat the same insanity as she did twenty years ago: wasting over a trillion $ each 12 months for her self-destruction (60 trillions $ in 60 years =15 actual economic crisis). How stupid can we be ! It will be so easer to expose the real facts, boycott the culprits and initiate a new World's order. Consequently, a few "bastards" will not be so rich. But what is the most important: the fortunes of a few or the well-being of everybody. Russian military decisions' makers and politicians have it all wrong. They should just admit that, like their western homonyms, they have a cash-register instead of brain...Sorry Future Generations ! Sincerely...Jean-Claude Meslin

Meslin, I sympathise with your viewpoint, and agree with your exclamation 'How stupid can we be! However, Human nature is Human nature. Since we first picked up, a long time ago, a rock or a piece of wood to use against another human, we have as a species spent a disproportionate amount of time, energy, resources, and blood evolving better and more effective ways of subduing or killing our fellow men. The man with the bigest stick, sharpest sword, fastest loading gun, most powerful bomb, has always been the man who is 'in charge', whether this be a tribe, a country, or an empire. This is why the arms industry will always be with us. Any individual or group who lay down the sword will be always be vulnerable to the individual or group who continue to weild it. Therefore we must all carry a sword - and not be afraid to use it if we are attacked. This is why there will always be customers for weapons of all descriptions. I too would like to see peace on earth, but experience and knowledge have tought me that things are very, very unlikely, if ever, to change. We are who we are.
