The first Russian patrol boat has arrived in the Republic of Abkhazia to protect the sea borders of the young state which declared independence from Georgia last summer following Tbilisi's attack on South Ossetia.

The soviet union is back, and is trying to provoke Georgia so they can invade all of georgia this time. Pathetic and cowardly tactics.

I disagree. The Soviet Union does not exist anymore; it is Russia reasserting its right to protect its borders and its interests. Russia does not have to invade Georgia; Georgia is doomed already with the existing and patheric current president, who overestimated the support of the duo Cheney-Bush (or just followed their orders???). The people of Abkhazia deserve a self-determination path to grow and development. Russia will just provide some help to protect this small new nation.
