My brother is in the green zone now and has about 4 months left before he can leave. I wish he could leave right now. Maybe George Bush could replace him. that would be fine with me.

My son is on his way there today. He would not ask that anyone replace him because he is proud to go and serve. This is his second deployment and he wanted to go back. We all wish they weren't there, so let's just pray for an end to the madness. Besides, George Bush is too old, you can't get in after age 42.

My stepson is serving his 2nd deployment; he was only home 4 months before being sent back over there. Bring them all home now and let those lunatics fend for themselves.

As a 26 year veteran of the United States Army, now retired, I have to say I wish I was over there serving beside my brothers and sisters. I do question why we are still there. Once we leave who knows what will happen. God's Speed to all my friends still over there. My heart breaks for all the heroes we have lost. We must never forget them.

My son is going over there. I feel we have been over there long enough. Let them fight their own war. We are always sticking our noses into other countries problems when we have enough here in the United States to do. Bring our troups home

I know some one who is in Iraq and I will continue to support him . The men and women that are over there continually need our love and support if they feel that they know longer have our support they will loose faith in themselves. I am proud of what they do for us each and every day. I will continue to pray for their safe return. And when they do return I will be there to rejoice and tell them how much I love them and thank them for a job well done.

My son is a Marine Helicopter pilot (Super Cobra) and has been in Iraq since January. He will be arriving home on or about September 17th. for a brief two week leave, then return to Iraq until next May. Our government creates these wars and young men and women are sent to fight them. Too many young lives have been lost in this senseless war, while numerous deployments have are created tolls as well. Bring the troops home now, which includes corrupt Afghanistan.

My son is also serving his country in Iraq and is proud to do it. But i'm like y'all: I ask why. Bring my son and all his buds home now! Lets keep them in prayer and always support them.If these politicians had to take their sorry butts over there and fight, they might not be so fast to declare war. Bless every one of them!

My son has been serving in Iraq for a few months now. The troops always appreciate care packages. It amazes me how much stuff is not provided to them such as soap, deodorant and other necessities. I pray for them and take comfort in their confidence ever reminding myself that this is a volunteer army it is not a drafed army. My son will be home for a two week mid-tour break hopefully this December! I've made a video and posted it on utube under ctompki4 then "A Soldiers Mom" my son loved it

Now I know what every body is feeling that has a love one fighting over in Iraq. I pray for everybody that has a loved one friend or anybod else over there. My kids mom is over there right now. She works for Affees. They have to go for inventory. She will only be gone for 30days but with everything that is going on, it kills me that I worry so much if she is going to be ok. Ya she is my ex but being the mother of my children it is hard.

Hope all of your loved ones stay safe and come home soon! Does anyone know of a web site to get more up-to-date info on daily happenings in Baghdad and Iraq? The information that preceeded these posts has not made the mainstream news here in the USA. I will continue to check back to see if anyone has knows of one. I'm sure all the families and relatives of our service people would appreciate knowing of one. Probably a lot of our service people would also as they are often kept in the dark about what is going on in their vicinity. Does anyone know which base was hit? Thanks and my best wishes to all of you.

How many Iraqi people do we need to kill before we have won the war? Where are those WMD we invaded Iraq for? 300+ WMD are in Israel. It's is no wonder we are no longer loved and respected, but rather, hated and feared. Our international politics are lopsided towards Israel and against all other nations who do not like or want Israel to continue the destruction of the middle east in general and Palestine in particular. Where is Osama Bin Laden? How come we haven't managed to find him? Could it be that the entire middle east population (other than Israel) supports his struggle against meddling and bombing brown people in the middle east? Our fine young service men and women could be doing something useful, like helping the people of Haiti, or working in the Appalachian Mountains. But no. We have to send jar heads all over the world killing and bombing everyone and everything in sight. I am disappointed that our president said he was going to bring the troops home, but instead he sends more of them over to Afghanistan to kill more brown people over there. This is very unfortunate indeed.
