For the second time this year Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has parted with his watch. Earlier, he presented one to a shepherd’s son, and this Monday he gave his new one to a weapons factory worker.
Putin has given us a great example of following the commandment of Jesus Christ, "Give to him who asks you."
PM Putin may want to switch to a cheaper watch, if everybody is going to ask him for a gift! This could get expensive. On the plus side, he may not have to worry about changing batteries.
Bless you, Benjamin! Very good example of a president/PM's closeness to peopleMr Putin shows the love of his people and country.
The recipient of P. M. Putin's watch will value it as a souvenir for the rest of his life. P. M. Putin is close to the people and it is appropriate for him to give personal items or souvenirs to citizens he meets if he so desires. It isn't the value of the item, but the thought that counts So, if you are Russian, keep rootin for Putin.

This man is the best argument why people should not have right to ask President or PM anything they want. There is no decency at all, in what he did ! And something off topic (sorry) I hope that PM Putin and not President Medvedev will be next President Russia only with Putin can avoid all the future dangers of war Medvedev would be great PM though, better than Putin
