This man is the best argument why people should not have right to ask President or PM anything they want. There is no decency at all, in what he did ! And something off topic (sorry) I hope that PM Putin and not President Medvedev will be next President Russia only with Putin can avoid all the future dangers of war Medvedev would be great PM though, better than Putin

PM Putin may want to switch to a cheaper watch, if everybody is going to ask him for a gift! This could get expensive. On the plus side, he may not have to worry about changing batteries.

The recipient of P. M. Putin's watch will value it as a souvenir for the rest of his life. P. M. Putin is close to the people and it is appropriate for him to give personal items or souvenirs to citizens he meets if he so desires. It isn't the value of the item, but the thought that counts So, if you are Russian, keep rootin for Putin.
