PM Putin took part in the opening of a Nissan plant in St. Petersburg. Visiting the assembly-room, painting and quality control sections, he found himself behind the wheel of the first car off the production line.
The Korean KIA is an excellent vehicle and costs a lot less than the Nissan. I have driven both and prefer the KIA over the NISSAN. Korea also makes the HYUNDAI vehicles which are good vehicles for low income families. The Ford RANGER is a very good pickup truck and is not expensive. Russia needs to make their own engines and transmissions in Russia. You don't want your car factories bringing engines and transmissions from other countries. This is too much like GLOBALIZATION and has consequences. Happy Motoring.

Do you really 'weld engines to body frames' - is this a new technique? In my days you used to bolt them in. Servicing, must be tricky!
