All the extra security safety measures Vladimir Putin proposes should have done already. Why have they not been done? Why have these measures not taken already after the last year’s train bombing in which the bomb was placed in the speed train in Moscow? Somebody is not doing his duty here. Moscow is a city of 12M people. It needs the highest level of security. Last year RT reported that many CCTV cameras throughout Moscow were fake. Why in all places, the Moscow Metro did receive the highest degree of security features already?

RT’s interviews with so called terrorists experts miss is off marks safe it is interview with Peter Lavelle who got it right. Russia does not need to change its strategy in the Caucasus; Russia needs to increase hunting foreign financed terrorists. What Russia needs is to increase its vigilance against terrorists and also confront the U.S/ NATO/ Saudi Arabia and western media role in painting Caucasus terrorists as ‘separatists. When in reality these are foreign financed terrorists.

I am deeply saddened to learn of the horrific and cowardly attack upon the innocent human beings, the citizens of a Great Nation, Russia this morning. My heartfelt condolences to all the families who lost their loved ones and I pray for the souls of the murdered and for the swift recovery to health of those injured in these blasts. So sorry that this happened but I am sure that the Russian People will prevail and endure as always.

Definitely foreign financed terrorists. Russia needs to beef up security in Moscow in general and in its beautiful Metro in particular. Better security in Caucasus is a must, where all this comes from and where there is too much local corruption and borders are aparently too porous.

Bad news, and very sad news. I wonder how come all these so-called "terrorists" always manage to find finances and such a brain washed motivation to kill innocents along with them. I totally agree that they are not religious based, because that doesn't make any sense. Fascists have been using religions grounds to justify their violence from thousands of year as shows in history. And suddenly Germany thinks its a great time for US and RF to get together to fight terrorism. Ya great!!! (f****** great) I mean that make perfect sense. Get well soon and take care People Luv from Horizon

@Doublespeak Well said. Since 89 they started importing terrorist and Wahabbists in the South Caucasus with western intelligence creating terrorist and organised crime networks to groups in Grozny and secretly started training Chechens and connections to international jihadist groups and establishing a European/Mid East network in 91 in Bosnia just like they tried to do in WW2. Like Bosnia and Kosovo and the lies they told about those wars are the same lies about the Chechen conflict that they started as a pretext to get a NATO presence in the Southern Caucasus RT really needs to get former CIA counter terrorism official in Russia Paul Murphy to interview him the foremost terrorism expert on terrorism in Russia and the only person to cover it full time Russian Eurasian Terror Watch Analysis www.retwa.com
