St. Petersburg’s FC ‘Zenit’ and Russia midfielder Konstantin Zyryanov has been named Russian footballer of the year.
The 30-year-old helped his club win the Russian premiership title this year. Konstantin also won six caps for his country.
He joined Zenit from Torpedo at the start of last season – scoring 8 goals from midfield.
Zyryanov played in 43 games and scored 13 goals in 2007.
