Jim Avignon, a founder of the so called “cheap art” movement, is exhibiting his paintings in Moscow. One of the world's fastest painters, he is also known for letting the public take his works home for free.
Avignon is quoted as saying he'd rather sell a thousand images for one dollar than one image for a thousand dollars.

A self-taught artist, Avignon is also known as a musician under the stage name of Neoangin.
He says he gets the best response from Russian audiences. “There is something that goes together with my music and Russian mentality. Nowhere else I can get such response from art.” he said.
