Women take on charity work

She promotes friendship among women of all nationalities living in Moscow and brings hope to others.
Claire Leven-Macon from the International Women's Club Moscow told Prime Time what it is like to be a volunteer in Russia. As IWC is a completely volunteer organization with no overhead expenses, their work is pure charity. The club’s activities include fundraising for the needy, including providing money for surgery needed by ill children. Also, members of the club pay visits to those who they previously helped and bring presents.
RT’s guest said the work allows the members of the club to know Russia better as well as join together for a good cause.
