CSKA have beaten Luch Energia 3-1 in the Russian Premier League. The match turned into an absurdity though as the players could hardly keep feet on a swamp of a pitch in Vladivostok.

Luch Energia 1 CSKA 3

The hosts found their feet on the pudding of a pitch first, Sergey Bulyga smashing home a gorgeous free-kick just after the twenty minute mark.

But the Muscovites pulled level within two minutes. The Brazilian Jo scored a header, which turned the game.

The conditions were becoming farcical but Jo was able to set-up the ball for Vagner Love who scored at the back post.

After half time the conditions might have suited water polo better than football and Evgeny Aldonin’s shot deflected and looped over the home goalkeeper.

Amkar 2 Shinnik 0

The Perm side were 2-0 winners over third from bottom Shinnik.

Striker Predrag Sikimic scoring both goals in the second half. The second came from a free-kick

Khimki 1 Krylia Sovetov 0

And in the Saturday's last game Khimki got their first win of the season beating Krylya Sovetov.

The only goal came after 39 minutes with Artyom Radkov's shot.
