One of Russia’s most versatile ballet dancers, Diana Vishneva, presented her performance on the final day of the country’s most important musical festival “Stars of the White Nights” in St. Petersburg.

Anna Netrebko, one of the world’s best sopranos, will be opening the new season at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. She will be performing the main part on “Iolanta”, opera by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

Over 100 concerts and performances will be presented as part of the seventeenth musical festival “Stars of the White Nights,” supervised by maestro Valery Gergiev.
Not everyone gets the chance to don full evening wear for a night at the opera or ballet. But the world-renowned St. Petersburg’s Mariinsky Theatre is bringing the highbrow to the mass market.
