Espanyol and Osasuna have won their first games in the UEFA Cup semi-finals. Now, the second most prestigious European club tournament is likely to see two Spanish teams in the final.

Espanyol take a 3-0 advantage into the second leg of their tie. Moises, Pandiani and Coro found the net against Werder Bremen, while the Germans had the keeper, Tim Wiese, sent-off.

And reigning champions, Sevilla, are still in contention despite losing 1-0 to Spanish rivals Osasuna. Soldado is the goalscorer there.
