The Snowboard World Cup title in the 'Big Air' discipline has been decided in Moscow. The latest leg of the World Cup was held in the city on Saturday to determine the best man of the season and let the planet’s best snowboarders show their incredible sk
The main event began with the top 16 snowboarders who had qualified for the play-offs.
Russian Dmitry Repnikov was one of them, but failed to get through to the quarter-finals.
Stefan Gimple from Austria secured a flawless victory in the penultimate event of the season and in doing so clinched the World Cup title, as he had also won two of the previous legs.
The party's over for now but the show still goes on when, on March1, Moscow hosts the ski freestyle World Cup.
