Have you ever tasted electric lemon soda? If your fellow barman doesn’t know the recipe, check out the “Electric Lemon Soda” festival that kicks off in the Russian capital on August 12.
But first beware: the fest doesn’t focus on culinary art but mostly on French and Japanese animation, as well as on digital art and experimental film.
Organizers describe the event as a “feast for the eye and for the ear – powerful and unpredictable.”
Nine cutting-edge productions are featured on the festival’s menu. All of them have recently been screened at “Nemo”, one of the largest European visual arts festivals which took place in France earlier this year.
Among the highlights of the “Electric Lemon Soda” fest is “4” from the “shock-rocker” of French animation, Edouard Salier, and “Kudan” by Taku Kimura, about parallel worlds and transformations.
The festival will run in Moscow till August 25.
