New tax law will be easy on small businesses - analyst

“The impact of the new law will be positive for Russian businesses,” according to Daniel Klein, from the law firm Hellevig, Klein and Usov.
"It will help the foreign business community here, which is very concerned about tax laws," said Klein, “Sometimes foreign, and even Russian companies, are found to be infringing on tax laws when they don’t really intend to. It’s either an act of negligence or not an infringement at all. In those situations, it’s quite harsh to impose jail time on companies that think they are acting in good faith.”
