Swan drama in central Russia

An animal rescue mission was launched in Russia's Samara region after a call form a fisherman, who reported an injured wild swan.

The rescue team moved out immediately.

At first the bird, later named Lucky, tried to escape but was finally caught with the use of a snowmobile.

One of swan’s wings was damaged and the bird was given medical treatment.
