Fines have been introduced in the Omsk Region in southwestern Siberia for those using curse words. Using vulgar language will now cost residents of Achairskoe village from $6 to $16.
why should swearing be outlawed and people be fined for it, okay in some circumstances yes, but everyone has the right to free speech!!, people should not be scared of politicians, politicians should be scared of the people!!
i have had education! i do not use swear words every day of the week, but if you turn around and accidentally swear in the street when you stub your toe on a bench and you get fined for it then we shall see how you feel!

wonderful idea. wish it would be that way everywhere including the USA. swearing has lost its meaning and our vocabulary weakened by it. shows low character and poor vocabulary to swear constantly. if you cannot finish a sentance with the F-word then you really need help. This will force people to realize that they need more education.
