If you love somebody, it shouldn't really matter which day you choose to marry them, but some couples want a little extra luck to guide them to marital bliss.
They hope that the three nines 09.09.09 – being Septmeber 9th, 2009 – will do just that.
In China, the 9th of September is considered lucky, and long-lasting is a term associated with the word nine.
In Moscow, couples have lined up and are dressed to the nines, complete with extra long limousines.
Around the city, the newlyweds will be seen taking pictures in front of various landmarks and sights.
Including costs for services, gowns, tuxedos and other wedding expenses, couples are expected to spend between three and ten thousand dollars.
