Russia’s Dinara Safina has reached the final 32 at the U.S. Open, after outclassing Italy’s Roberta Vinci 6-4, 6-3. The sixth seed overcame a couple of concentration lapses after skipping ahead early in both sets.

I don't like the way her coach talks to Safina,I think she needs a new coach.One that will give her confidence, as we have in her.Good luck in the new year Safina. I watch your game from a small town in Nicaragua call PEARL lAGOON, thank goodness I am back in US and I can watch all the games. We love tennis and was so dissapointed with Serena Williams.
