An unusual type of milk is being produced in central Russia – moose milk! It’s reported to have unique healing properties.

A farm in the Kostroma region is home to 15 female moose.

The cows spend the day in the wild but are tracked by radio collars. When it’s time for milking, they’re called in over loud speakers.

Moose can be aggressive towards humans, but the farm workers protect themselves by rubbing on calf scent so that the older animals treat them like baby moose.
