During the book's launch in one of Moscow’s biggest bookshops, Beigbeder describes himself as a huge fan of Russian girls, saying they are simply perfection. And there were a lot of them queuing for an autographed copy of his latest novel.   

“Russian beauty is not only literature and forests. Its main characteristic is its women. The whole world has heard about the powerful allure of Russian women. That's why they are often refused visas. Women of all nationalities dislike them because of their beauty. Russian girls are their enemies,” Frederick Beigbeder explained.
