Russian squad to be announced

The new, Russian national football team coach, Guus Hiddink, has named his first squad since taking over in April. And he's made some surprising choices for the friendly against Latvia in nine days time.
The Dutchman has been busy attending as many Russian Premier League games as possible. And his squad is certainly testament to his approval of the domestic game, with all team members playing on Russian soil. Surprise selections are the recent hat trick hero, Pavel Pogrebnyak from Tom, seen here heading the ball into the net. And Vladislav Radimov is making a comeback to the international arena after being left out of the national side during the Syomin era.
