Russia's Ekaterina Tudigesheva has won her first World Cup parallel slalom title, after she beat Austrian Doresia Krings in the final in Austria. Nevertheless, the struggle for victory was tough and it was a photo finish in the end.
The Russian did not get off to the best of starts, as her Austrian opponent surged ahead in the early part of the race.
However, Tudigshcheva found speed on the lower part of the course, and just pipped Krings in a photo finish at the line.
Ekaterina Tudigesheva’s World Cup victory was enough to move her up to second place in the overall standings.
