Avangard (Omsk) are through to the semi-finals of the Super League Play-offs, after an epic 4-3 overtime win against Lokomotiv (Yaroslavl).

Meanwhile, defending champions AK Bars (Kazan) are safely through to the last four, after Danis Zaripov grabbed an overtime winner, to sink Khimik (Moscow region). The Kazan side will now play Metallurg (Magnitogorsk).

CSKA kept their hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive, as they rallied to beat Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) to send that contest into a game 5 decider.
