World heavyweight boxing champion Sultan Ibragimov is to fight Evander Holyfield for the WBO title in Moscow on October 13th.

The Russian has agreed to take on the American, who's come out of retirement in pursuit of his fifth world title.

Ibragimov holds the WBO belt and was meant to fight WBA champion Ruslan Chagaev in Moscow on the same date. But the Uzbekistan boxer has pulled out because of illness.

So instead Holyfield will step into the ring just six days before his 45th birthday. Victory would make him the second oldest heavyweight champion in history after George Foreman.
