The board of the Russian Entertainment Awards presented RT Channel with a special prize. A special diploma for the contribution to the creation of international image of Russia and popularisation of its cultural events will be added to the RT's prizes.
Russian Entertainment Awards aim to recognise theatres, museums and media that promote the Russian entertainment industry both within the country and abroad.
“Thanks to the Russia Today TV Channel, audiences on all continents get to know the most significant cultural events in Russia. That's why we are very thankful to the channel,” said Denis Gruzintsev, the ceremony's general producer.
