Russians are through to the last four of tennis' Federation Cup after Svetlana Kuznetsova completed the job over Spain. They have an unassailable 3-0 lead after Kuznetsova's win over Anabel Medina Garrigues.

Svetlana Kuznetsova stared the match pretty rashly taking the first set 6-3 and giving her opponent a lead of 3 games in the second one but finally taking it 4-6. She was quick to beat the Spaniard 6-0 in the last set, bringing the Russian team their tickets to the semi-finals.

Now the Russians will play against the winner of the U.S.-Belgium match. So far the Americans have a 2-points lead.
