Letters written by the siblings of Russia's last Tsar, Nicholas II, are going under the auctioneer's hammer in Geneva.
Thousands of letters, photos, postcards and drawings will go to the highest bidder on December 6.
The correspondence was between Tsar Nicholas' younger brothers and sisters, and their Swiss tutor, Ferdinand Thormeyer.
The collection, which was found in the family archive of Thormeyer's ancestors, was previously unknown.
Among the items being auctioned off is a lavish gold-and-sapphire cigarette case that Nicholas gave to his siblings’ tutor.
