GPS system for Putin’s dog

Three Russian satellites, which are part of Russia's global positioning system GLONASS, will be sent into orbit on Tuesday. The announcement was made by Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Ivanov at the Kremlin.

Prime Minister Putin's pet dog has been equipped with his own satellite tracking collar to promote the new GLONASS system, which Russia hopes will rival America's GPS.
