British music producer, engineer and mixer Haydn Bendall told RT his secrets for dealing with musicians.
Working with an artist requires mutual trust and respect, he says.
“You should understand how difficult it is for an artist,” Bendall told RT. “The artist is very exposed and can be really nervous. Even a very successful artist can feel naked in a studio, so the atmosphere needs to be very conformable and frank.”
