Professional horsemen perform in Sokolniki

An international horse exhibition “Equiros” has presented a new show programme called “under the sign of a horse”. Professional horsemen of different clubs performed at the Sokolniki exhibition center.

The show features the story of the relationship between the horse and man. The performance includes different items, depicting the role of horses in different epochs and cultures. Spanish, gypsy and oriental styles are presented in bright folk costumes and themed musical settings. One of the highlights was young horse-women jumping and chasing on bareback horses and without a bridle. A fascinating and really dangerous trick! But the girls are brave and, of course, very well trained at a horseback riding school, part of Moscow's Zoo. Sergey Tsevtkov the director of the show, has only been horseback riding for two years yet he seems to feel very comfortable in a saddle and his horse seems to trust its rider. Tsevtkov himself takes part in one of the numbers. In his show he united different groups of artists who never worked together before. All groups have their own sequences and one where they work together which is the biggest part of the show “The Lord of the Rings”. It is a miniature version of Tolkien's story with armoured knights, hobbits and appropriate costumes. The whole show is based on a love story between man and these beautiful creatures.
