Spring has come early at Moscow Zoo, at least for the latest two cubs in the polar bear family.
The pair emerged from the warm winter confines where they were nourished by their mother.
This period – known as denning – often lasts longer, but a relatively warm February brought the polar bears out early.
According to the zoo it will be another month before visitors will be able to see the cubs.
