The Russian Drug Control Service has called to tighten control over medications containing codeine – now available in every pharmacy.

At the same time the Russian Government and Russian federal subjects have to make easier that those who want to leave drug addiction have clinics, medical centers for treatment and recovery. The social cost (crime, pharmacy, treatment, life expectancy) of drug addiction can be very expensive.
